Who can issue a refund for Distiller Pro depends entirely on how you paid. This page explains both paths so you can get to the right place quickly.
Credit card on Distiller.com — Distiller bills you directly, and we can issue refunds ourselves.
In-app purchase (iOS or Android) — Apple or Google bills you through your store account, and only the store can issue refunds. Distiller has no ability to refund App Store or Google Play charges — that's a store policy, not ours.
Not sure? If Distiller Pro shows up under Subscriptions in your App Store or Google Play settings, you paid via in-app purchase. If you manage your subscription under My Profile → Pro Subscription on Distiller.com, you paid by credit card.
Email us at [email protected] and we'll take care of it. Our policy:
Billing errors — if we've charged you in error (a duplicate charge, a charge after you canceled, or similar), we'll refund it in full, no questions asked.
Annual renewals — forgot to cancel before your yearly renewal? If you contact us within 14 days of the renewal charge, we'll refund it in full.
Everything else — tell us what happened and we'll review it case by case. We're a small team of actual humans and we aim to be fair.
Refunds are returned to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
To stop future charges, you'll also want to cancel auto-renewal — see Canceling Your Distiller Pro Subscription. Canceling stops future billing but doesn't by itself issue a refund for past charges.
Apple handles all refunds for in-app purchases:
Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID.
Choose Request a refund, select the reason, then select your Distiller Pro purchase and submit.
Apple typically responds within 24–48 hours.
Apple makes the final decision on App Store refunds under its own policies — Distiller can't issue, expedite, or override them.
Google handles refunds for in-app purchases:
Go to play.google.com and select Payments & subscriptions → Budget & history, or visit your Google Play order history.
Find the Distiller Pro charge, select Request a refund or Report a problem, and follow the steps.
Recent purchases can usually be refunded directly by Google. As with Apple, Google makes the final call under its own policies.
If a store refund request was denied or you're not sure what to do next, email us at [email protected]. We can't refund store charges ourselves, but we can help you figure out your options — and we can always make sure your subscription is canceled so you're not billed again.
