Searching For Spirits

Using Distiller's Search tool you can search our database of tens of thousands of unique spirits. It doesn't matter if you're on your phone on our website, using one of our mobile apps, or sitting at your computer. You can search our database whether you're logged in or not. 

Searching On Distiller.com

You don't have to be logged in to search on Distiller.com. Just follow these steps depending on if you're on your computer, or on a tablet or phone.

On Your Computer

1. Click the magnifying glass icon in the top right of the screen. It's to the right of 'My Profile'.
2. Search for any spirit name in the Search bar and hit enter. 
3. If you want results for all types of spirits make sure the 'All Spirits' option is selected at the top of the screen. If you want to narrow your Search to a specific spirit type, make sure you click the name of that spirit type. 
4. If you want to filter your results by the style of spirit, or the country it's from, click the 'Filtering By' button. You can also choose whether or not to show Official Content, which is content created by Distiller's staff, User Content, which is content created by Distiller Users, or All Content, which will show both. 
5. The default sort criteria for Search is by Community Rating. You can also sort by Popularity, which is the total number of ratings, and alphabetically. 
6. When you click on a Search result you will be able to hit the Back button and return to the same Search results. 

On Your Phone or Tablet

1. From the homepage of Distiller.com, tap the three horizontal bars in the top right of your screen. This will open the menu. 
2. Tap the Search button at the top of the list. 
3. If you want results for all types of spirits make sure the 'All Spirits' option is selected at the top of the screen. If you want to narrow your Search to a specific spirit type, make sure you click the name of that spirit type. 
4. If you want to filter your results by the style of spirit, or the country it's from, click the 'Filtering By' button.
