Tagging Other Users

You can tag other users in your Reviews and comments. Doing this will send that user a notification and bring them into the conversation. It's simple and easy to do. 

How to Tag Users On Distiller.com

To tag users on Reviews or in comments on Distiller.com all you have to do is add the @ symbol to your text field. Follow the @ symbol with some or all of the letters of the username of the person you want to tag and username suggestions will begin popping up on your screen for you to select. Once you have selected the username of the person you want to tag you can finish writing your Review or comment. You can tag as many people as you want, there is no limit. To tag an additional person simply add a new @ symbol after a space and restart the process.  

Once a username is tagged and your Review or comment is submitted, that username will be hyperlinked so you and other users can click it and land on that user's page. 

How to Tag Users In The Distiller Mobile App

Tagging users in the Distiller app is works in a very similar way to how it does on Distiller.com. However, there are some added features that make it even easier to tag other users. 

To tag a user in a Review, simply type an @ symbol and begin typing the username of the person you want to tag. This will bring up a list of potential users at the bottom of the Review window. Select the user you want to tag and continue writing your Review. You can add as many tags as you want to a Review. 

To tag a user in a comment, you can use the @ symbol, or if you'd like to reply directly to a comment that a user posted on a Review, you can tap the @ symbol next to any comment and a new comment window will appear with that user already tagged.
